TAYLOR KNOX JOINS TEAM MRM
MRM is proud to welcome professional surfer Taylor Knox aboard its team of athletes. After almost two decades of competition, Taylor remains the most longstanding surfer on the ASP World Tour and one of the most respected surfers in the world. Taylor is currently competing in his 18th season on the tour and was recently inducted in the Surfers Hall of Fame. At 40 years old, Taylor has veteran knowledge and a timeless style.
Former San Diego Padre Trevor Hoffman admires the way Taylor goes about his business. “He’s defying the odds, constantly bettering himself — evolving and competing to win. A lot of people look up to him. He’s genuine” said Hoffman.
Taylor has trained his way to a lengthy career as the leading face of fitness in the surfing industry. With the guidance of trainer Paul Hiniker, Taylor produced Surf Exercises, a DVD that encompasses specific workouts targeting better health and surfing. Surf Exercises focuses on balance as the centerpiece for advanced strength, speed and rotational flexibility to inspire a more functional body. Taylor embodies the culture, attitude, and lifestyle that are synonymous with MRM’s persona. A local San Diego product, Taylor represents what MRM is all about.
