I come from a background of cardio-based training- I was a competitive distance swimmer for 8 years growing up, then segued into running track. Despite being in physically good shape, I never achieved the “toned” body I wanted, as I didn’t realize how little muscle my body had. About two years ago, I started lifting weights as my primary form of exercise. At this same time, I also started following a flexible dieting approach. The combination of these two concepts has transformed me physically, but more importantly, mentally. I am strong in both capacities, and have never felt better about myself. I have truly found my passion in life through healthy cooking and fitness, and my goal is to share my experience with others to help them achieve the same level of confidence this lifestyle as given me. Although I currently have a fulltime job in the corporate world, I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and hope to some day make helping others achieve their fitness goals my full time profession!
