Caitlin Smith – Tell Us Your Story
I started off at 143Lbs… and after finding out I was pregnant with my first child in 2011 I was told “oh eat double everything!” and me being 15, well, I didn’t know any better, so I did.
I gained 87.3 lbs through the course of my pregnancy. After he was born in July I tried to lose the weight but I had no resources, no help, and no idea where to start. Then, 6 months later, I got pregnant again with my second son. I gained another 56lbs on top of the 87lbs I had gained from my first pregnancy. I was determined to lose weight, I was 287lBs after my second son was born, and at the height of 5’3 it took a toll on my body.
I got down to 256lbs, then I became pregnant, again, with first my daughter in 2014. I only gained 18lbs with her, I watched what I ate but I was still super lazy. After she was born I got down to 245lbs and all I could think of was how I wanted a better life for myself. I was depressed, and my anxiety got so bad I just didn’t want to exist anymore, but… I was slowly making changes to help my become healthier. I got down to 240lbs before getting pregnant with my youngest daughter last year. Through the whole pregnancy I paid a lot of attention to my weight. I lost 10lbs, then gained 5 towards the end of my pregnancy.
My daughter was born a month early and was placed in the NICU for 2 weeks. I was so overweight that my body was shutting down and killing the placenta. Right then, right after hearing that, I became determined to lose the weight regardless of what it took. After leaving the hospital I weighed in at 230lbs. In March I bought “Insanity” (the popular fitness program) and by May I had lost 37lbs! This was all thanks to the fitness program, the help of MRM supplements, and discovering portion control.
I still have a ways to go- but I’m getting closer and closer to being healthier every day. Thank you for everything you have done.
