Brussel Sprout Salad with Baobab Dressing

When it’s cold outside there is nothing less comforting than a cold meal… but sometimes you just really want a salad! How do you fix this? Make a warmed salad- it’s hearty, flavorful, and warm.Try this Brussel Sprouts and Kale Salad with Baobab Dressing, it is perfect to keep you cozy, healthy, and happy!



  • 2 Cups Shredded Kale
  • 1 Organic Carrot (Peeled and Grated)
  • 2 Cups Sliced Brussel Sprouts
  • 1/2 Cup Roasted Hazelnuts (Roughly Chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp Light Olive Oil

For the dressing:

  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/3 Cup Hazelnut Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (Freshly Squeezed)
  • 1/3 Cup Roasted Hazelnuts (Roughly Chopped)
  • 1 Small Shallot (Finely Chopped)
  • 1tsp Fresh Thyme Leaves (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp MRM Raw Organic Baobab Powder


  1. Mix all dressing ingredients together in a bowl and season to taste with sea salt. Set aside.
  2. Heat a medium sized frying pan to medium heat with the olive oil and the sliced sprouts. Gently cook for 2-3 minutes then remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Add the remaining salad ingredients to the pan and gently toss to warm slightly
  4. Transfer to a bowl.
  5. Dress the salad with your desired amount of baobab dressing, and enjoy.
