Brussel Sprout Salad with Baobab Dressing
When it’s cold outside there is nothing less comforting than a cold meal… but sometimes you just really want a salad! How do you fix this? Make a warmed salad- it’s hearty, flavorful, and warm.Try this Brussel Sprouts and Kale Salad with Baobab Dressing, it is perfect to keep you cozy, healthy, and happy!
2 Cups Shredded Kale
1 Organic Carrot (Peeled and Grated)
2 Cups Sliced Brussel Sprouts
1/2 Cup Roasted Hazelnuts (Roughly Chopped)
2 Tbsp Light Olive Oil
For the dressing:
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
1/3 Cup Hazelnut Oil
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (Freshly Squeezed)
1/3 Cup Roasted Hazelnuts (Roughly Chopped)
1 Small Shallot (Finely Chopped)
1tsp Fresh Thyme Leaves (Finely Chopped)
MRM Raw Organic Baobab Powder Directions
Mix all dressing ingredients together in a bowl and season to taste with sea salt. Set aside.
Heat a medium sized frying pan to medium heat with the olive oil and the sliced sprouts. Gently cook for 2-3 minutes then remove the pan from the heat.
Add the remaining salad ingredients to the pan and gently toss to warm slightly
Transfer to a bowl.
Dress the salad with your desired amount of baobab dressing, and enjoy.
