Buckwheat Baobab Granola

Granola is a convenient option for those who need something quick and healthy for breakfast or a snack. However, some people cannot tolerate even gluten free oats, so this granola is made from buckwheat! Buckwheat is a healthy gluten free grain option with a delicious nutty flavor that is intensified after toasting. Add this granola to smoothies, porridge, banana ice cream, or eat it on it’s own with fruit and milk!


  • 1 cup buckwheat flakes
  • 1 cup packed medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp MRM Organic Baobab Powder


  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Add the buckwheat to a large baking tray and toast in the oven for 10 minutes until slightly browned.
  • Stir occasionally so it doesn’t burn and remove from the oven.
  • Add the medjool dates, coconut, buckwheat and baobab to a food processor.
  • Process until the dates break apart and the granola begins to stick together in chunks.
  • Store refrigerated for 1 week.
