Chocolate Coconut Date Bites

These sweet treats are loaded with healthy plant based fats and are naturally sweetened. If you are in need of a little something sweet after dinner, these are your perfect solution! Just one or two of these fudgy, decadent (but healthy!) chocolate coconut bites will satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling having to feel guilty.


  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3 tbsp milled flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp MRM Chocolate Mocha Protein powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup loosely packed dates, soaked
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter
  • unsweetened shredded coconut for coating


  • Add the dates to a bowl of warm water and let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Add the cashews, flax, protein powder and cocoa powder to a food processor.
  • Pulse until cashews break apart slightly and dry ingredients are mixed.
  • Drain water from the dates and add to the blender with the cashew butter.
  • Blend until a thick dough forms.
  • Scoop into a bowl and form into small pieces.
  • Coat each bite with shredded coconut.
  • Best stored in the freezer!
