Chocolate Mocha Protein Brain Bites

These energy bites are packed with protein to power you throughout the day. They're super easy to make, and cost less than a dollar per serving (2 bites)! The delicate orange flavor brings a brightness to the bites that you just can't help but fall in love with. These are going to be your new favorite snack- they even keep in the freezer for over two weeks so you can grab a bite just when you need it!



  1. Soak dates in hot water for 5 minutes. Remove from the water and allow to cool, then remove the pits and set aside.
  2. Add the oats and pumpkin seeds to a food processor and quickly pulse-blend to break them up into smaller pieces. Be careful not to pulse so much so that it all turns into a powder.
  3. Add all the other ingredients except the coconut oil to the processor and blend until everything begins to combine uniformly.
  4. Slowly add the coconut oil in until the mix begins to bind together.
  5. Roll into bite-sized balls and allow to set in the fridge for about an hour or so before serving.
  6. Enjoy!
*TIP – You may need to add a splash of water or more oil to the mix for it to become sticky- a little goes a long way, so be conservative when adding more! Try adding a little sea salt for a different flavor profile!
