Cinnamon Bun Oatmeal With Caramelized Banana

Time for old fashions oats to get a makeover! The process is simple, you bring out its natural beauty by adding a little protein, cinnamon, and caramelized banana. Easy, breezy, delicious bowl of oatmeal ;)



  1. Using a small pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add your oats and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add protein powder and almond milk to your oatmeal, mix well and set to the side.
  4. Cut your banana in half, lengthwise.
  5. With the stove on medium heat and using a small pan, melt your coconut oil and add a pinch of cinnamon. Mix well.
  6. Once the oil is hot, place your halved banana flat side down. Cook for one minute, or until brown and caramelized, and flip to cook the other side. Remove from the pan.
  7. Add your oatmeal to a bowl, top with the banana and a pinch of cinnamon. Enjoy!
