Cinnamon Bun Pro-Cakes with Fruit

You can’t go wrong with a nice stack of pancakes! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and for good reasons. It kick starts the body into high gear to get your body and brain ready to conquer the day. This recipe has a great flavor from the cinnamon bun protein and the fruit is a great addition for some natural sweetness. Put down the Capn’ Crunch and try out these pancakes if you want to feel full, happy, and healthy.



  1. Preheat a large skillet on medium heat and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl add the pancake mix, milk of choice, egg, protein powder, and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk the contents together until fully mixed. Add about ¼ cup of mix to the skillet for each pancake.
  4. Once you start to see some bubbles flip and cook on the other side (roughly 1 minute per side).
  5. Top with syrup and fresh fruit if you desire. I used blueberries, bananas, and nectarines.
  6. Enjoy friends!
