Crispy Zucchini Fries with Spicy Avocado Aioli

Time to get FRYerd up for this recipe! Most of us enjoy fast food fries but let's be real, they aren't exactly the healthiest choice because they are deep fried in oil. For a healthy alternative try baking them with spices and breadcrumbs paired with a delicious creamy aioli that you will have you and your friends coming back for more!


For the fries:


spicy avocado aioli

  • 1 avocado chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeno chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup mayo (vegan or non vegan)
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • add all ingredients to a food processor and mix until smooth. You will need to stop and scrape down the bowl as needed.


  1. Preheat over to 420F. Lightly grease a cooling rack and then place on a baking sheet and set to the side.
  2. Set up an assembly line with your milk in one bowl, flour and spices in another, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Dip each fry in flour, then milk, then the breadcrumbs. Place them on the cooling rack and continue all are coated.
  4. Bake for 18 minutes then broil for 2 minutes or until desired crispiness. Enjoy!
