Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is a traditional part of Thanksgiving dinner, but you don’t have to get it from a can. Use this recipe so you can make your own sauce and know where your ingredients are coming from. Enjoy a superfood boost from the red beet powder, take pride in a healthy home made dish, and enjoy all of the compliments you’ll get from those enjoying dinner with you.


  • 8oz Bag Fresh Cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • Zest Of 1 Orange (For Added Tartness: Juice The Orange And Add That As Well)
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tbsp MRM Red Beet Superfood Powder
  • Pinch Sea Salt


  1. Wash the cranberries thoroughly.
  2. Place the cranberries, water, and maple syrup in a small pan with a pinch of sea salt and cook on high heat.
  3. Bring to a boil and add the orange zest (plus juice if desired) and ground cinnamon.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer and gently cook for 7-8 minutes, or until the cranberries begin to burst and the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the red beet powder, stir thoroughly and simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
