Honey Mesquite Chicken

We eat grilled chicken a LOT in our house. It is one of those foods that I don’t really get tired of eating and it is so easy to grab and go when you are in a rush. We pretty much always have grilled chicken in the fridge to use for a quick lunch or snack during the day along with some pre-cut veggies or fruit.

Ingredients

  • Approximately 3lbs chicken tenders (or chicken breasts)
  • Approximately 2 Tbsp raw honey
  • Approximately 1 Tbsp mesquite powder

Directions

  1. Heat grill to appx 350 degrees (medium heat) and place chicken tenders on the grill.
  2. Add half the honey and mesquite powder to the face-up side of the chicken tenders.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes then flip each chicken tender, add the remaining honey and mesquite powder and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the tenders are thoroughly cooked.
  4. ENJOY!
