Matcha Green Tea & Coconut Latte

This Matcha Latte is amazing for a cozy morning jumpstart or an afternoon pick-me-up thanks to the energizing yet moderate amount of caffeine found naturally in the ground tea leaves. Not only will you get an energizing boost, but you'll enjoy antioxidants that accompany the incredible flavor of this tasty drink.

Ingredients

  • 2tsp MRM  Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder
  • 2 cups fresh filtered water
  • Juice and Zest of 1 lime (kept separate)
  • 3/4 cup of coconut milk
  • shredded fresh coconut to garnish (optional)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 mint leaves (shredded)

Directions

1. Bring the water to a boil, and let boil for 1 minute. 2. Place the matcha, mint, and maple syrup in your preferred latte glass or mug and cover with the boiled water. 3. Heat the coconut milk in a pan until simmering (or microwave safe dish or jug) and froth with a whisk. 4. Spoon the frothed milk onto the infused tea and sprinkle the lime zest and coconut on top to garnish, enjoy.
