Matcha Oats

Do you ever get tired of the same old boring oatmeal? I enjoy switching things up and giving my hot cereal a little bit of a make over. For this particular day I wanted to add a little bit of MRM’s new Matcha powder(coming soon). You will just need a little bit of this beautiful, bright green superfood powder to add color and flavor to your oatmeal. I like to top it off with fresh fruit for sweetness, tidbit of almond or cashew milk for creaminess, and pumpkin seeds for a nice crispy crunch. Give this recipe a try and see if it MATCHAS up to your typical oatmeal breakfast.


  • 1 cup oats (quick or old fashioned)
  • 1 tsp MRM Matcha powder
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • 1 ½ cups of water
  • Handful of fresh fruit I used blackberries, strawberries, and sliced apples
  • Few sprouted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp blue agave nectar for sweetness


  • Place oats into a microwave safe bowl and add 1 ½ cups of water. Cook for 1 minute
  • Add Matcha to oats and mix together well
  • Once mixed add milk of choice and the agave nectar
  • Top your oatmeal with fresh fruit and pumpkin seeds. Enjoy!
