Extra! Extra! Read all about it! MRM has just launched their new superfood line. These superfoods include: Red Beet, Mesquite, Sacha Inchi, Baobab, Moringa and Black Rice powders. Superfoods are nutrient powerhouses that pack large doses of antioxidants, polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals.
2lb bag of frozen corn kernels
1.5 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp MRM Organic Mesquite Powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl mix together all ingredients.
Lay a piece of foil on a cookie sheet (for easy cleanup) and evenly spread the corn kernels out. The thinner you can get the layer, the better.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes. I set my timer for 30 minutes and then checked it every ten minutes after that until the kernels were roasted to the consistency I like.
Serve as a side dish, mix it in a salsa or salad or just eat it as healthy snack.
