This easy to make pizza dough has our Mesquite Superfood Powder in the mix helping to amp up flavor and nutrient density. The dough takes less than an hour to make, including rising time, and extra dough can be stored in the fridge for three days or in the freezer for a month! Pizza party!
1 Cup luke warm water
1 Tbsp yeast (Regular or fast-acting)
3 Cup all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp MRM Mesquite powder
2 Tbsp Olive oilToppings We Used
Roasted acorn Squash
Butternut squash puree
Roasted garlic cloves
Thoroughly mix the warm water with the yeast and set aside for 5 minutes (we shook it up in a jug).
In a medium bowl add the flour, salt, and mesquite superfood powder and mix together.
Create a well in the middle of the mixture and pour the olive oil and water/yeast mixture into the well. Mix thoroughly until a nice, smooth dough ball is formed. Work with your hands for 5 minutes.
Add another 2 Tbsp of olive oil to a large, clean bowl and grease all over. Place the dough ball in the bowl, cover with plastic film, and let rise for 45 minutes – 1hr.
Once risen, remove from the bowl and work with your hands for a minute to knock out any excess air from the dough. Cut into 4 even pieces, store in an air tight container or plastic wrap, and refrigerate until you're ready to make your pizza.
Pre heat the oven to 425F
Work one of the four pieces of dough into your desired pizza crust shape, top with your favorite sauces and toppings, and bake for 12-14 minutes rotating occasionally to ensure even baking.
