Mint Matcha Chocolate Nice Cream

I love this recipe so matcha! If you are looking for a cold refreshing treat then look no further. This is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. If you enjoy green tea then this is a “must try” recipe for you. It’s also healthy! No added sugars or creams. The frozen bananas give it a creamy ice cream like texture. You can get creative with yours and add different superfood powders, protein powders, or fruits. Well, what are you waiting for? Go make yourself some NICE CREAM.

Ingredients

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 2 tsp Matcha powder
  • Mint leaves
  • Cacao nibs
  • Splash of almond milk
  • Nuttzo Chocolate nut & seed butter (optional)

Directions

  • Cut the frozen bananas into slices.
  • Add them to a food processor or blender with the Matcha powder.
  • Start to blend it up (you will need to stop and mix it a few times, it’s normal).
  • Add a splash of almond milk to help the process.
  • Once you have the creamy consistency you want add it to a bowl or if you want more of an “ice cream” texture freeze for about an hour.
  • Next, add a few chopped mint leaves and cacao nibs (looks like mint and chip ice cream).
  • Optional but I added some Nuttzo Chocolate seed butter to the top of mine. Just throw a spoonful in a microwave safe dish for 30 seconds so that it melts and you can drizzle it on top!
  • Enjoy!
