Ravioli with Tomato and Red Beet Pasta Sauce

Yum! Look at these delicious ravioli and red sauce with a superfood twist! We added our MRM Red Beet Powder to a tomato sauce and put it right on top of these delicious Raviolis. Check out this simple recipe so you can make our famous Ravioli with Red Beet and Tomato Sauce.


  • 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 2 Shallots, finely chopped
  • 6 Plum Tomatoes, roughly chopped (Can substitute one 8oz can of organic crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Basil, roughly torn
  • 1 tsp Fresh Oregano, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • Pinch of Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp MRM Red Beet Powder


  1. Add the olive oil to a medium-sized pot and set on your stove at medium heat. Add the shallots and garlic to the olive oil and gently cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened. Be careful, not brown the garlic and shallots.
  2. Add the red wine vinegar to the mix and reduce until the liquid evaporates.
  3. Now add the tomatoes, oregano, and a pinch of salt before bringing to a boil. Cover with the lid, turn the heat down to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the Red Beet Powder and torn basil.
  5. Transfer sauce to a blender or food processor and roughly pulse for 10-15 seconds, or until your desired consistency is reached.
  6. Finish with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with your favorite ravioli. Enjoy!
