1 Cup Almond Meal
1⁄2 Cup Walnuts
2 Tbsp Poppy Seeds
1⁄4 Cup + 1 Tbsp MRM Raw Organic Baobab Fruit Superfood Powder
1⁄4 Cup Melted Cacao Butter
1⁄4 Cup Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
Pour the almond meal, walnuts, dates, 1/4 Cup MRM Raw Organic Baobab Fruit Superfood Powder, 1 Tbsp poppy seeds, and the juice and zest from 1/2 of the lemon into a food processor. Process all ingredients until you have the consistency of crumbs.
Grab a healthy handful of the mixture and mold into donut shapes, or you can use a doughnut pan as a mold if you have one.
Place the raw donuts on a baking pan lined with parchment paper and put in the freezer to set while you make the lemon glaze.
Melt the cacao butter in a hot water bath or double boiler.
Once melted completely add the coconut oil, juice from the other half of the lemon, 1 Tbsp MRM Raw Organic Baobab Fruit Superfood Powder, and Maple Syrup and whisk until fully combined.
Let the glaze mixture cool for about 10 minutes, then dip each doughnut into the glaze or pour the glaze on top of the doughnuts. Use the remaining poppy seeds to sprinkle on top of the doughnuts then place then back in the freezer to set, about 15 minutes.
