Spirulina Chocolate Ganache Tart

Ohhhhhh my gosh- chocolate ganache tart! Just in time for Valentines Day! The best part- it's made with our MRM Spirulina Superfood Powder! Spirulina is a complete protein- meaning it contains all of the essential amino acids our body needs to function properly. Not only is it a complete protein, but Spirulina is a blue-green algae and is completely vegan. This amazing ganache tart is a deliciously healthy choice and is crazy easy to make. So get on with your bad self, make something healthy and sweet- you deserve it!


  • Your favorite store bought crust
  • 2 Cups of Heavy Cream or Coconut Cream
  • 1 3/4 Cups of Dark Chocolate Chips (70% cocao or above)
  • 1/2 Cup of Preferred Butter (cold and cut into cubes)
  • 2 TBSP Spirulina Powder
  • Pinch of Sea Salt


1. In a pan, bring the cream to the boil. Once boiling remove from the heat and add the spirullina powder and chocolate chips. Whisk together until smooth.
2. Once smooth, add the sea salt and butter one cube at a time and continue to whisk until fully incorporated.
3. Allow to cool slightly (not completely chilled) before pouring the ganache into the pre cooked tart mould.
4. Place in the fridge for 2 hours to set, slice and enjoy.
Will store in the fridge for 1 week.
