Spirulina Spaghetti Salad

This pasta salad is delicious, brimming with flavor, and packed full with health benefits from our delicious Spirulina powder. A pop of citrus really helps to brighten the vegetal flavor of the Spirulina while complimenting the jalapeño and sun dried tomatoes. This dish has everything you need to fuel your body right, enjoy!


  • 4oz Quinoa Spaghetti or Preferred Alternative (boiled until cooked as instructed and cooled
  • 1 Shallot (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 Jalapeno (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 Lime (juiced)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp MRM Spirulina Superfood Powder 
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Carrot (peeled and grated)
  • 1/4 Small Purple Cabbage (finely sliced)
  • 1/2 Heart Romaine Lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 Jar Sun Dried Tomatoes in Oil (You will need 8 Sun Dried Tomatoes, and 2 Tbsp of the Oil from the Jar for the Dressing.
  • 1/4 Cup Pine Nuts (lightly toasted/roasted)
  • 6 Basil Leaves (roughly torn)


  1. Assemble the salad by mixing the carrot, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes and toasted pine nuts together in a bowl and put aside for later.
  2. Heat a medium size frying pan to medium heat with the Frazier Farms Extra Virgin Olive Oil and add the garlic, shallot and jalapeno and gently cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked and drained spaghetti to the pan and toss for 1 minute. Add the spirulina, lime juice and a pinch of sea salt and toss. Finish the pasta with the sun dried tomato oil and gently worn basil leaves.
  4. Serve along side the salad, and enjoy!
