We love the feeling of waking up Monday morning and the refrigerator is full of fresh food! It makes it much easier to prepare a fresh, healthy breakfast. This morning we were in the mood for a smoothie but not just any ordinary smoothie. I wanted to make a smoothie bowl full of flavor AND nutrients. Yes, it is a powerful source of antioxidants, just don’t overdo it. Just like that breakfast is served and you’re on your way to a smooth and energized day!
1 scoop MRM strawberry whey
½ cup frozen mangos
¼ cup plain greek yogurt
1 tsp MRM red beet powder
1 cup of milk of choice (I used unsweetened Cashew)
Toppings: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, sunflower seeds, dark chocolate
Add crushed ice, frozen mangos, Greek yogurt, red beet powder, and milk to blender until smooth.
Pour smoothie into a bowl and place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from freezer and add fresh fruit, sunflower seeds, and dark chocolate. Enjoy!
