Chicken wings… essentially meat on a stick, which is, as we all know, one of the greatest ways to eat meat. The only downside- wings tend to be on the less healthy side. They’re usually fried and covered in fake and sugary sauces, but not this time! These turmeric and mesquite spiced wings are grilled and seasoned with delicious spices and superfoods paired with a healthy and amazingly tasty dipping sauce. You can’t go wrong- healthy, flavorful, unique, and a tested crowd favorite.
12 Fresh chicken wings (neatly trimmed and excess fat removed)
Mix all yogurt dip ingredients together in small bowl and set aside until wings are ready to serve.
To prepare the marinade for the wings simply place all of the wing ingredients (with the exception of the wings) in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Put the wings in a large zip lock bag, or a large sealed container, and cover them with the marinade. Close your bag or container and gently shake to coat each wing with the marinade. Make sure each wing is substantially covered.
Place in the fridge to marinate for at least two hours.
Pre-heat the grill to a high heat and place the wings on the grill. Cook on high for 2-3 minutes, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for another 6-7 minutes- flip the wings frequently to avoid burning.
