Vanilla-Beet-Berry Buckflower Porridge
There is nothing better than a warming breakfast on chilly mornings, and porridge is one of my favorite comforts during winter. Using MRM Vanilla Bean protein and Organic Red Beet Powder, this delicious flavor is naturally sweetened without added fillers, loaded with antioxidants to protect your cell membranes, and it is quite pretty to look at (almost too pretty to eat!!). You’ll even get a sneaky serving of veggies along with it. This really is an excellent, easy, and balanced breakfast to fuel your day.



  • ¼ cup Bob’s Red Mill Creamy Buckwheat flakes
  • 1 heaped cup cauliflower rice
  • 1 + ¼ cup water or milk of choice
  • 1 tsp MRM Organic Red Beet Powder
  • ½ scoop MRM Vanilla Bean Veggie Elite Protein Powder
  • 1 tsp Lingonberry Powder (omit if you don’t have this, or sub another pink berry powder like Pomegranate Powder)


  • In a deep, microwave-safe bowl, place the water, buckwheat and cauliflower
  • Mix, cover the bowl with a paper towel, and microwave on high for 2 minutes
  • Remove and stir, then microwave for another 1 min 30 seconds.
  • Let the porridge cool for about 5 minutes, then mix in the Beet Powder, Lingonberry Powder and Vanilla Bean Veggie Elite protein.
    • The protein thickens the porridge to an awesome, oatmeal-like texture!
  • Taste-test now, and feel free to add any other sweeteners of choice like stevia, maple syrup, brown rice syrup, mashed banana, or anything else you like!
