You will need:

  • 2 tbsp buckwheat flakes (I use Bob’s Red Mill Creamy Buckwheat Cereal)
  • 2 tbsp milled flax
  • 1 cup cauliflower rice
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ banana, mashed
  • ½ scoop MRM Vanilla Bean Veggie Elite
  • 1 tsp MRM Mesquite Powder
  • allspice, cloves and ginger (to taste)


  • Combine buckwheat, flax, cauliflower and water in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Stir, then microwave another minute.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, then stir in the mashed banana, protein, mesquite, and spices until the porridge thickens.
  • Top with the other half of the banana and any other toppings you want!
