White Bean Mesquite Hummus

Legumes are an excellent source of protein and fiber for vegetarians and vegans, with a low glycemic index to help keep you feeling full and satisfied without those “carb crashes.” I love making my own hummus – it is so much cheaper than buying your own, and you can make whatever flavor you want using different herbs and spices! The addition of MRM Organic Mesquite powder gives this hummus a rich, delicious, smoky-sweet flavor. Check out this recipe below to make this delicious and easy white bean mesquite hummus.


1 can white beans (rinsed and drained)

1 tsp MRM Mesquite Powder

½ tsp garlic powder

1-2 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh)

1/8 cup tahini

1/8 cup lemon juice

1/8 cup olive or flax oil


Place the rinsed beans in your food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and blend, scraping down the sides as needed, until all ingredients are incorporated and the hummus is smooth.
