My everyday Smoothie has become a staple in my diet. I like to drink it for breakfast so I know that no matter what else happens that day, my body has received a large dose of vitamins, minerals, and protein. Not only that, but starting your day with a nutrient rich meal can improve brain function, focus, and ward of cravings later in the day. If I don’t have a smoothie for breakfast, I incorporate it as my post workout meal, since nutrients are absorbed faster in liquid form, which is critical after exercise. *Recipe courtesy of MRM athlete ambassador Ellen Whitney*
